From the 33 Collective Gallery Newsletter:  The National Self-Portrait Exhibition has become one of our most viewed and most anticipated exhibitions to date. Now in its 5th year, the self-portrait exhibition will be a two-part exhibit. Our guest juror will select 40 works for the gallery exhibition and 100 works will be selected for a permanent online exhibition to open simultaneously with the gallery exhibit. Both the gallery and online shows will be equally promoted.

ELIGIBILITY: All artists living in the U.S. ages 18 or over.  All media will be considered. Original work only. No works previously exhibited at 33 Collective Gallery will be accepted.  Work may be representational, abstract, conceptual or non-representational.

SUBMISSION FEE: $25 non-refundable fee is required per artist and includes up to 3 images for consideration.

JUROR:  Gregg Hertzlieb, who is the director/curator of the Brauer Museum of Art at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. Hertzlieb has a master’s degree in fine arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a master’s degree in education from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

AWARDS:  Range from $300 + Solo Online exhibition at 33collective.com to $100 + Solo Online exhibition.

Harrington College of Design Digital Photography Instructor Tim Arroyo has been featured in this exhibit twice.
