Fibonacci numbers and the Golden Rectangle have been studied by mathematicians since ancient times. They have been used in financial markets, to follow the lineage of honeybees, and in computer programming. Of interest to architects and designers is the use of this geometry to approximate the balance and forms found in nature. They are considered the standards of pleasing proportions.
Join us for an intriguing presentation of famous works and ordinary images – all demonstrating what the ancients knew and what we continue to explore and celebrate today.
