3ds Max Workshop
Tuesdays, July 28 and Aug 4 from 5:30-9:30
Rooms 228 (7/28/09) and 417 (8/4/09)
One course in 2 consecutive Tuesday sessions, taught by Lucy Trimarco.
Autodesk 3ds Max software is a full-featured 3D modeling and rendering tool. Learning objectives for this compressed 2-session workshop include:
-navigate the interface to create and modify 3D geometry
-build and manipulate objects and import AutoCAD drawings
-import and modify materials and textures, and apply them to objects
-set up lighting and environmental effects to highlight the rendered model
-create accurate 3D renderings efficiently
** Familiarity with AutoCAD is a prerequisite! Also, please note that a 2 session workshop can only be an introduction and does not take the place of a longer course; students must work independently to gain proficiency
To register for the class, please come to room 411 (aka Center for Professional Development) to pick up an application or email Margaret Murray at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will email you an application.
