DP Department Imagine Submissions Guidelines

We have just over a week and half to submit work for the 2009 IMAGINE SHOW! It is
very important that we submit work to this show. We need to show our support for our
school and represent the photo program.

Imagine is being held Friday Oct. 2 at the Macys on State St. The work is being auctioned off
and proceeds are going to DIFFA.

Work should be framed and turned into the cage no later than Monday, September 28th. If you would like,
write an artists statement and attach that to your piece. You must also fill out the Artists contract,
which you can get from Student Government President Christopher Gerke, or in the S.G office on the 4th floor.

This will look great for your resume, and great for the school. Submit your work, and we’ll see you at the show!

Be careful locking up your bicycle!

Did you know that cable bicycle locks can be cut with simple bolt cutter?

Cable bicycle locks are the least secure way to lock up a bicycle. Bicycles locked up with U-locks are much more resistant to theft than bicycles locked up with cable locks alone. As a precaution, Harrington encourages all students who ride their bicycles to school to secure them with U-locks, rather than cable locks, as bicycle thefts are common in Chicago.
