Designs for Dignity transforms existing non-profit spaces through pro bono design services and in-kind donations.
Heart Homes/Designs for Dignity cocktail party
They are hosting a House Party in Wilmette to kick off our Heart Homes Initiative (procurement of residential furniture donations and placement into nonprofit residential programs and interim housing sites) and are looking for 4-6 volunteers to assist with showcasing some history of the award winning restored home as well as general assistance with selling raffle tickets and event logistics.
Tuesday, September 29th
1210 Greenwood Avenue
The event is from 5-8pm. (You can arrive at 4:45 to 5ish pm to help as most guests will likely arrive at 5:30/6pm.)
Appetizers and drinks will be served and you will have an opportunity to mingle with designers, clients and others in the industry as well.

Paint a Non-profit Thrift Store!
A small nonprofit thrift store in the Lakeview neighborhood that provides clothing to those in need is looking for your help. Designs for Dignity will be painting between 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM on Saturday, October 3rd. Drinks and snacks will be provided. If you are interested, please contact Michael Talbot at email@example.com. The first 4 volunteers to contact me will be provided with further details about the day.
